God is too good to me!

Drumroll please....

I got an A in my comp class! I had Anna on the phone this morning for moral support as I looked up my grade online, but was very pleasantly suprised. I figured if A was for effort in the class, I would definitely get an A, but my papers did not reflect the work I put into them. I did not get an A on ONE PAPER, but I must've gotten an A on the last one...I have to go pick it up on Monday.

God is so incredibly good to me. So many things were going on as I took this class, and maybe I didn't put as much effort as I should have into it. He rescued me once again! Not that a B would have been bad, but He had His hand in that class. He is faithful!

So I just had to come exclaim my happiness! Praise God!

I never win!

grrr..

I called Wink 96.9 twice today to try and win tickets to a Matchbos 20 concert. The first time I called immediately after the winner had been selected, and the second time I called and was the first caller.

Just to let everyone know: the only thing I've EVER won from a radio is a water bottle. Don't think I haven't tried...

Nope..can't think of one.

Yesterday was a really good time. Chelsyi and Emo came over to hang out while my parents were going to get a new washer and stove. We really wanted to actually cook something instead of the usual frozen pizza, so Emily and I met Chelsyi at the grocery store. We decided that we weren't that hungry, so we got stuff to make salad. Then, we were going to make a homemade apple pie (well Chelsyi was going to), but we ended up getting a cobbler that was frozen. So much for cooking! lol

Emily and I got to my house, but Chelsyi was taking a long time. Apparently there had been a wreck on the bridge (or close to it) almost immediately after Emily and I went over it. It was kind of frightening to realize that it happened so soon after we had just been on it.

After Chel got here, we watched the Heisman presentation (go Thibault! haha), and then videos of cat bloopers. It was actually hilarious. Poor kitties.

So now I'm waiting on Chelsyi and her parents to get here so that we can go over housing for UCF. The Lake Clair Apartments are looking like what we will be in next year. We'll see if it sticks after our meeting.

Attention ladies and gentlemen:

TIM TEBOW WON THE HEISMAN! I just thought I'd exclaim that, and I'll write more later. I'm going to help hang ornaments on the Christmas tree.

I'm not who I was...

Now I know that the song above is probably slanted toward relationships, but I feel that the concept applies to me and a whole lot of other people around me.

I feel like God has been working in lots of lives lately-transforming, refreshing, and reminding. He has been so good to me over the past year. I don't know what it is, but I think the fact that the year is ending has gotten me thinking about what's happened over the past year. So many things have changed, yet God remains constant. He has been there all along-feeling my pain when I felt like nothing would ever be OK, and joyfully jumping around with me in those good times. There have been so many good times this year so far, and I am so thankful.

I cannot believe that this year is almost over. It feels like January was just yesterday. It's not as if life will stop changing soon either-next year is college! So many things are going to happen next year, but I know that God will remain constant. He is so good to me! So I guess I've just been appreciating all that has happened over the past year. There are so many things to be thankful for...
the other 2 musketeers
Pastor Benton
my family
the girls in Bible study
Jubilation Jam
Costa Rica
my 'promotion' haha

NOT procrastinating (whew)

There is so much more that has changed, but I just can't think of it all. It's been a whirlwind of a year, and one that I will never forget. It's not over yet, and I just can't wait to see what the rest of it turns out like. So thank you to everyone who has graciously dealt with the roller coaster of emotions I've been this year. I know I was never easy to deal with before, but especially now. haha

Now I must finish my essay and fill out my Burnett Honors College application for UCF. Let the fun begin. lol
